TCM Practice in Nuremberg
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a healing art that originated in China more than 2,000 years ago and has evolved further over the centuries. It includes various therapeutic procedures, which are also referred to as “pillars” of traditional Chinese medicine.
Heilpraktiker for TCM in Nuremberg
My name is Nancy Legato, and I have been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) since 2007 – first in the USA and now in Nuremberg. I support people with a wide variety of challenges, e.g. irritable bowel syndrome, chronic migraines, menstrual issues, symptoms due to multiple sclerosis, and side effects or after-effects of chemotherapy. My goal is for my patients to feel comfortable and welcome, so that they can leave their worries behind for at least an hour and take another step towards healing.
TCM Therapeutic Approach
TCM focuses on a holistic view of human health that has evolved over thousands of years of Chinese and Asian cultures and traditions. This medicine consists of 5 so-called “pillars” – acupuncture and moxibustion, massage, herbal therapy, nutritional therapy and Qi Gong (movement, breathing, energetics). For more than 15 years I have deepened and broadened my knowledge of these forms of therapy so that I can offer my patients a variety of solutions, no matter what the symptoms are. I look forward to accompanying you on your own healing journey with a holistic medical tradition. And I invite you to learn more about Traditional Chinese Medicine and my practice.
TCM Consultations

Based on our interview and my findings from examination of your
I’ll determine a TCM diagnosis of your pattern. This is not intended to either contradict or confirm a conventional medical diagnosis, but rather open up a different lens on your illness and enable a treatment plan based on the Chinese tradition.
TCM Therapies
TCM offers a variety of therapies; while acupuncture is the focus of most appointments, I complement each treatment with other therapies appropriate to my patient’s situation. Each therapy has its strengths; by combining them I can optimize your treatment and the results. Read more about:
